CX

We may live in a new country, but there are some seasonal traditions that we are keeping alive.   Fall is here, and so it was time to figure out the cyclocross scene.  It wasn't too hard to find a race near by, so we loaded up the bikes and went for it.

The race was organized by a bike club about 45 minutes outside of Amsterdam.  They had a little clubhouse with a bar, showers, etc.  It was super cute.
There was even a painting of cyclocrossers on the wall of the clubhouse.

Unfortunately, there was no kiddiecross race...but the kids were still fired up to ride their bikes around and cheer for their papa.

O rocked it.  Holding one's own in a field packed with dutch cyclocrossers (who are part of a cyclocross club!) is no small feat.  He finished strong and had fun.

We were all pretty fired up to see a hill.  Even a hill as small as this one.  This country is so flat.
