Guignol

While I'm at it (posting vacation pix from months ago), I should also post these terrible pix of an awesome experience.  While in Paris I was determined to catch an authentic marionette show in the Luxembourg Gardens.  Guignol is the most famous of all French puppets (like Elmo, only a jillion times more quaint and charming and gazillion times less commercialized). We were thrilled to see him as part of Les Trois Cochons.  This was the real deal, I am pretty sure we were the only non-locals in the joint.  It was a highlight for sure, I highly recommend it - even if you don't speak french.
