Closet Before & After

Before: we had a two-doored messy closet, a horrible wall, and a cool old armoire that was packed full of poorly folded tshirts and longjohns.  The interior closet light was awful, when it worked - usually it just clicked and flashed.

Before: O's side of the closet

Before: my side.  I told you the before pix are embarrassing

After: 1 door (an old one left over from our kitchen remodel), mounted barn door style, a well designed (thank you Mindy at CC) interior painted chartreuse, and a much more edited wardrobe.  We also moved the wall in about 1.5 feet (giving up bedroom space for closet space), got rid of the armoire and installed decent lighting inside.

A rainbow of tshirts  work shirts for O

The new closet is still small, but it is such a smarter and more efficient design.  Currently it is my favorite "room" in the house.  If we would all fit, I'd invite you all over for a party in my closet.

Love it! Where did you find the hardware for the barn door?

Awesome! Well done! Love the color and the door and that very cool light in your bedroom and the organization...
