Mountain Wedding Perfection

Warning!  This post will blow your mind.

This past weekend we were honored to be included in the ceremony and festivities for two super sweet, smart, and lovely friends of ours.  Turns out these two also know how to coordinate an event.  Once the real photos from this event are released, the blogosphere will be a buzz with inspiration...and Martha will probably be calling...begging to hire the B's and to cover their fete in one of her mags.  Until then, enjoy my attempt to document some highlights from my phone.

Lets start with a video.  Can you believe how cool this is?  Their buddy George was amazing.  He jammed as we all took our seats, played customized mad libs (so cute, didn't get a photo) and waited for the ceremony to commence.  Note: We were lucky enough to sit with George and his wife...they are both as lovely as his voice.  Dynamite!  Amazing.  I wish the video did it justice...it was incredible.  My favorite part (as you will hear by my voice in the footage), the bridesmaids rocking out in the window...hard to see in the video, it was adorable.

It should be pretty clear from the above video...but the scenery and the weather were both unreal.  Check it.  Oh, and a shout out to my girl JG, who styled me from head to toe, holla'.

If you are wondering how we all got up so high on the mountain...I'll tell you...we took the chairlift!
You know I love me some darling bridesmaids...and this crew was exceptional.  So prettied-up, and each one was so sweet, classy and also sassy.

Did I mention that the view was alright?  Check it, again.  Wow.

And after the ceremony...in our fancy clothes, one by one...we each went for it...

Here is the only shot we got of the newlyweds...taking a minute out from the dance floor to roast marshmallows at their table.  Sweet sweet sweet.

Other favorite parts that I did not capture but that you will also love when the real photos are published on every major wedding blog on earth:
  • smore bar and table top flames
  • first dance (incredible)
  • hand painted signage
  • custom cornhole
  • gorgeous cake made by a friend of the bride who was as sweet as her cake and sat at our table.  Note, her cake was awesome, but she is famous for her pies
  • Tent with twinkle lights and paper lanterns
  • mustache distribution on the dance floor, which WKF loved the next morning
  • flower fabulousness
  • personal ceremony conducted by their best friend, he crushed it, so well done
  • well delivered toasts by friends and family
  • THE DRESS

PS - did I mention the bride was also a Mech Engineer at UVM?  As if you needed another reason to love her...
PS Again - Thank you Ski Bowl for being amazing.  Would you believe less than 10 couples ever have gotten hitched at this venue.  I think that when these pix go viral that will change . Staff up skibowl...
Final PS - yes, this is the same couple that got engaged on a volcano...
